THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR A QUIET & RELAXING FAMILY HOLIDAY
A charming destination either in or out of season, the strikingly picturesque Bay of Pollensa is home to a popular Yacht Club and wide sandy beaches.
Puerto Pollensa is an ideal base for exploring, with easy access to magnificent countryside and, to the west, mountain ranges where you will find the spectacular gorge at La Calobra, the busy town and port of Sóller, and the enigmatic hillside village of Deià, made famous by English poet Robert Graves who lived there from 1929 to 1985.
Deià is now a second home to many international celebrities, including some of Hollywood’s elite.
Puerto Pollensa is situated in the northwest of the island, approximately 55km (34 miles) from the capital of Palma with a transfer time from the airport of around 40 minutes by road.

THE OLD TOWN, OR SIMPLY JUST ‘POLLENSA’
The Old Town of Pollensa is only a 5-minute drive away from the Port, where, from the main square you can explore El Calvario. This is a set of 365 steps – one for each day of the year – leading up to a hermitage and church with a life-sized image of the Virgin that dates from the XIII century. Climbers are rewarded with a fine view of the town, bay and surrounding countryside.
Trattoria & Pizzeria Trencadora, Il Giardino and Numero Ocho in Pollensa are all excellent restaurant choices in Pollensa.
